Abstract

This article discusses future technological advances in water utility management and reviews technological advances that have affected management of the Denver Water Board in Denver, Colorado. Topics addressed include computerized budgeting and accounting, satellite monitoring of streamflow and snowpack data from remote locations that aids in planning, and computerized engineering applications, plant operations, and office systems.
