Abstract

The hotspot of future research is the technology of MEMS(Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) components. In rechargeable battery compatible chip (thin film lithium-ion battery), people store natural vibration energy that extracted from nature, and it will be available for power supply by adjusting the load circuit (such as sensors, etc.). An efficient and intermittent charge is needed to transfer the energy from the source device to the battery for the reason of the obtained energy showing irregular random low power-burst. Some researches have shown that utilizing inverse effects of MSMA(Magnetically controlled Shape Memory Alloy) could transform vibration energy of nature into electrical energy, which overcomes the influence of damping effect when using piezoelectric materials extracts electric energy. In this paper, a power management circuit is designed according to MSMA vibration energy, which include two parts: the first part is circuit module of energy acquisition and management , and the second part is circuit module of energy storage and management. Simulation results show that when the acquisition device AC voltage changes, energy acquisition management circuit can output 3.3V DC voltage stably. The energy storage management circuit can fully charge a lithium battery with 250mAh in a short time.
