Abstract

Veterinary control is an activity of specialized state authorities, which is aimed at preventing the import of products that do not meet established veterinary and sanitary requirements. The article discusses issues of veterinary control, interaction between Rosselkhoznadzor and customs authorities. The work identifies problems in the implementation of veterinary control: the lack of a unified legislative framework, a lengthy mechanism for confirming veterinary certification, repeated work by government agencies at the border, difficulties in maintaining electronic veterinary certification.
