Abstract
A current-mode active-R biquadratic filter is realized using operational amplifiers. It is shown that the proposed circuit can realize lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass transfer functions simultaneously without changing the circuit topology and elements. The parasitic effects of opamps on the filter characteristics are also discussed using a two-pole model of opamp gain. An example is given together with results simulated with PSpice.
