Abstract

CFD-calculation of local hydraulic resistance, representing a tube with a nominal diameter of 3 mm, the ends of which are connected to collectors, as well as verification of the CFD-calculation according to the reference book of hydraulic resistances by I. E. Idel’chik, are performed. The difference in results was 16.6 %. The results obtained will be useful to developers in optimizing hydraulic machines and equipment in order to achieve their greater energy efficiency. Keywords: numerical simulation, CFD, hydraulic systems, local resistance, energy efficiency, optimization, modernization. lis@terus.com, anikitin@sfu-kras.ru
