AbstractElectricity (MIC: 7.1 SIC: 4932 NAIC: 221210)Vectren is an energy and applied technology holding company. As of Dec 31 2004, Co.'s Indiana Gas Company, Inc. public utility provided energy delivery services to about 555,000 natural gas customers located in central and southern Indiana. Co.'s Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Company utility provided energy delivery services to approximately 136,000 electric customers and about 110,000 natural gas customers located near Evansville in southwestern Indiana. Co.'s Ohio operations provided energy delivery services to approximately 315,000 natural gas customers located near Dayton in west central Ohio. Co. is also involved in range of nonregulated activities.
