Abstract
We review the vector model, a low-energy effective theory of QCD based upon a novel realization of chiral symmetry incorporating vector mesons. After discussing some of the problems with the lowest-order phenomenological results of this model, we compute the leading log corrections to the theory's tree level predictions. The corrections are found to significantly improve the agreement between values for several physical meson observables from the vector model and experiment.
