Abstract

During the 2020–2023 years, spike productivity and its associated characters were investigated in 45 genotypes of common winter wheat collection. It was found that the climatic conditions of the year had a decisive role for the level and correlational dependencies of the parameters under study. Genotypic variance, phenotypic variance, heritability coefficient in the broad sense, genetic and phenotypic coefficients of variation, genetic progress were calculated for the investigated characters. Through cluster analysis, 17 wheat genotypes with high spike productivity (2,68-3,44 g) were identified during four years of study that could serve as valuable parents for the creation of new genotypes.
