Abstract

Aluminum-vanadium-phosphorus catalysts calcined over the range 450–750°C were synthesized and characterized by using TGA, XRD, DRIFT and DR UV-V spectroscopes, 27 Al, 51 V, and 31 P MAS NMR, TPR and nitrogen adsorption. Decomposition of 2-propanol and the selective oxidation of benzene, toluene and o-xylene were used as catalytic tests. Those catalysts calcined at 450–550°C showed the best catalytic performances
