Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of serum tumor makers throttle position sensor (TPS),Osteopontin (OPN) combined with fine needle aspiration cytology on diagnosis of early breast cancer. Methods The examination material of serum tumor markers TPS,OPN and fine needle aspiration biopsy cytology of 212 patients with early-stage breast cancer were collected. It was compared with surgery pathology and analyzed retrospectively. Results The sensitivity of TPS was 59.9% (109/182),specificity was 90.0% (27/30);The sensitivity of OPN was 62.1% (113/182),specificity was 83.3%(25/30) ;The sensitivity of fine needle aspiration cytology was 72.5 % (132/182),specificity was 96.7%(29/30) ; The sensitivity of the three combined detection was 92.3% (168/182),specificity was 76.7%(23/30).The sensitivity of combined detection was higher than any of them. There were sighificant differences in differences of positive rate (P < 0.01).Conclusions Serum markers detection combined with fine needle aspiration cytology for early breast cancer patients with clinical suspicion is an effective way for early breast cancer detection. It has high rate of diagnosis and reliable guidance significance for diagnosis and treatment of early breast cancer.
