Abstract

To the Editor: Certain cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) characteristics such as deep invasion, large caliber perineural invasion (PNI), and poor differentiation increase the risk for metastasis and local recurrence.1 The American Joint Committee on Cancer-8 and Brigham and Women’s Hospital staging systems prognosticate tumors to guide management of cSCC.
