Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of dynamic electrocardiogram on diagnosis of sick sinus syndrome (SSS).Methods One hundred and eighty cases diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome were selected as the the observation group and 200 healthy people were selected as the control group. The 24 hour dynamic electrocardiogram data were compared, including 24 hours total heart rate, average heart rate, maximum heart rate, lowest heart rate and the detection rate of arrhythmia. Results ① 24 hours total heart beat, average heart rate, maximum heart rate, lowest heart rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference were statistically significant(P <0.05).②The detection rate of bradycardiac arrhythmia in observation group was higher than that in the control group, there was significant difference (P < 0.05).Conclusions Dynamic electrocardiogram is simple, accurate, and with a good reproducibility,so can be used for diagnosing sick sinus syndrome. Key words: Dynamic electrocardiogram; Sick sinus syndrome; Bradycardia arrhythmia
