Abstract

This research was conducted by the teachers of piano teaching piano in order to evaluate the problems encountered in 2012-2013 education / training period, with the participation of 54 AGSL teachers who attended in the music education seminar and are serving in various cities. During the research quantitative research model was used, survey research method (screening), as a tool for data collection The Piano Teacher Questionnaire that was prepared by the researcher was used. As a result of the research it has been identified that Piano teachers run across problems during vertical reading/vocalizing of the notes, playing by switching from one key to another, playing by following the finger numbers, to decipher, to use the staccato technique , playing legato and staccato techniques with both hands, playing according to speed terms, playing the tunes fluently, playing the sets of basic rhythm accurately , recognizing the errors given to the students in the process of solving various problems.
