Results All the elder asthma patients completed the ACT, 482 times ACT and asthma control status were performed. ACT scores correlated with the results of doctors' rating for asthma patients, with a coefficient of correlation of 0.647 and Kappa values is 0.354 (P <0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in ACT scores between groups of patients with varied predicted ratios of forced expiratory volume at first second to forced vital capacity, doctors' ratings of asthma control and adjusted treatment regimens.
