Abstract

Objective To inrestigate the efficacy of vacuum sealing drainage ( VSD ) plus O3 douche in the treatment of refractory pressure ulcers. Methods VSD plus O3 douche was performed in 38 patients and the rates of wound healing and infection control were observed. Resutlts The rate of wound healing was 48.35% two weeks after treatment with VSD plus O3 douche, and the rate of infection control was 50.17%, which was superior to conventional wound care. Conclusions Vacuum sealing drainage plus O3 douche is effective in nursing care of refractory pressure ulcers and it is worth popularizing clinically.
