Abstract
In the article, the goals of teaching physical education for grades V-VI and the areas of physical development were discussed. The main goals of physical education include physical development, health, neuromuscular coordination, emotional development, mental development and social development, which ensure personal development. Understanding the general development concept of sports plays a role in its implementation and determines the main strategy of the program and teaching process that determines the specific activities. The teaching of this subject reflects different features related to the physical development of students at different levels of education.
