Abstract
Primary exstrophy-epispadias complex is rarely encountered in adulthood. Currently cystectomy and continent urinary diversion with modified Mainz pouch, instead of ureterosigmoidostomy, is the preferred method for urinary diversion in these patients when they are diagnosed at an early age. Rarely, when the bladder template is in good condition, native bladder can be primarily closed with augmentation.
