Abstract

The article analyzes the U.S. policy towards Central Asian countries in general, and Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, in particular, which, in the opinion of the United States, are the focal countries of the region. The U.S. cooperation with these countries on the entire spectrum of political, economic and social issues meets the common interests and is implemented both on a bilateral as well as multilateral level including all five countries of the region.
