Abstract

Hydroxyapatite was employed as a catalyst for the synthesis of 17C-corosolic amide by the condensation of 17C-corosolic acid chloride and phenyl hydrazide under solvent-free microwave irradiation technique. In this condensation the obtained yield is more than 87%. Within this condensation the catalytic activity and reusability of this hydroxy apatite was investigated on the basis of percentage of yield. The prepared amide was characterized by their analytical and spectroscopic data.
