Abstract
The nature and intensity of negative ions emitted by Be, C, Al, Cu, Mo, Ag and Au targets, bombarded by A + ions are studied. Measurements are carried out in the residual atmosphere at a pressure of 10 −5 Torr. The variation of the emission as a function of time, as well as the pressure influence on the ion intensity are observed and the mean energy dispersion of some of the ions emitted by Be and C samples is determined.
