Abstract

Background: Complex congenital anomalies of the female reproductive tract are due to absence or dysregulation of the interactions of the Müllerian system and urogenital sinus. In this case series, two uncommon anomalies, agenesis of the lower vagina and uterus didelphys, were found to co-exist in three adolescent patients presenting challenging clinical dilemmas. Timing of surgical management and post operative care are reviewed.
