Abstract
Many changes to education were made this past year in the state of Utah. Priorities involved early literacy programs, increasing teacher salaries, increasing opportunities for school choice, and the elimination of school grades. Higher education is set to undergo a major reconstruction this upcoming year. FY2024 is set for a 10.18% increase to the Minimum School Program (MSP), which is the primary funding source for public school districts and charter schools.
