Abstract
Abstract USS FREMAX 45 is a medium-carbon, resulfurized, rephosphorized, free-machining, flame-hardenable, wear-resistant plate steel for applications in which ease of machining is of prime importance. It is recommended for rolls machine ways, cams, gears and other equipment and machinery parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
