Abstract

Avtor je v prispevku prikazal trenutno stanje na podrocju jezikovnega usposabljanja bodocih uciteljev anglescine na Filozofski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Nadaljnje tudi nekatere vizije za prihodnost. Ugotavlja, da znanje jezika se ni zadosten pogoj za poucevanje. Univerza mora usposobiti bodoče učitelje tujih jezikov v »razmisljujoce praktike« in jim v ta namen ponuditi pravo razmerje med teorijo ter prakso. Hkrati mora enakovredno razvijati jezikovne in pedagoške zmožnosti oziroma spretnosti. studente namrec poklicno usmerja le tako zastavljen program.
