Abstract
The Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway is an innovative national project jointly delivered, since 2011, by the National Probation Service and the NHS in England and Wales. The authors work within one particular project based in the Yorkshire and Humberside area; the first author as a psychologist and the second author as a specialist PD Offender Manager. This article has been collaboratively written to share our experiences and reflections of using case formulation to enhance the risk management of a service user on this pathway. The service user, Declan (not his real name), has given his informed consent for his story to be shared.
