Abstract

Paris Agreement of the United Nations, which determines the post-2020 greenhouse gas emissions and measures to prevent climate changes, involves the implementation of measures for countries to reduce emissions, technological modernization and adaptation to climate change. In these circumstances, it becomes more relevant to use in various sectors of economic of renewable energy sources (RES).For the coal industry is characterized by the presence of renewable energy sources, which include heat of mine water, air emissions, industrial and domestic effluent and waste dumps. The industry annually dumped into surface waters, millions of cubic meters of mine water, which is discharged into the environment of low-grade heat, causing thermal pollution.The use of mine water for such purposes was restrained by the lack of comprehensive technologies of use of mine water. In Russia, as well as in the world there is no experience of mass introduction of technologies for the use of mine water.
