Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is a very serious concern in recent times, not only in people of an older age group but also in youth. Consumption of Alcohol, smoking , high cholesterol , high blood pressure, and stress are all causes that leads to cardiovascular disease. Prediction of heart disease has always been a tough job for medical practitioners and heavy on the pockets of individuals. So detecting heart disease at an early stage will help people take the correct measures to prevent any further consequences . In the past couple of years, machine learning has helped many people save their lives by determining heart disease at an early stage with the help of many available health care data sets . Listed are some of the machine learning frameworks: C4.5 algorithm, artificial neural network (ANN) , Support Vector Machine (SVM) , decision tree (DT), Classification Multiple Association Rules (CMAR) , Bayesian Classifiers.
