Abstract

This article presents the outcomes obtained when designing a methodology based on User Interface Sketch (UIS) for the development of algorithmic thinking supported with Augmented Reality processes in a first programming course. The study was developed under a quasi-experimental design, with a control and experimental group, with the application of post-tests whose data were analyzed with a parametric analysis technique. Finally, it was evidenced that the strategy designed favors the initial algorithmic development effectively.
