Abstract

Violence is a major issue today, both in developed countries and in developing countries like Indonesia. Acts of violence are not only physical, such as beatings, murders, assaults and other acts of physical violence, but also abusive attitudes and uttering inappropriate or hurtful words can also be categorized as acts of violence. These acts of violence often occur against children and women. The minimal role of technology in the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children is also one of the causes of less than optimal handling of acts of violence. Technological developments in the current era of globalization allow all levels of society to have general access, however, in handling violence against women and children it can be seen to be very lacking, in fact should get more attention. Based on this, it is necessary to have an application designed with a user interface design and user experience with a design thinking process to provide media services to the community, be it information, education, making reporting easier and especially when calling for emergency help to people closest or trusted in the event of an act of violence. to oneself and others in the community. As a result of the trial of designing a child and women's protection application, a mobile-based application design was produced that can make it easier for users to obtain information, literacy, reporting and fast response services.
