Abstract
In this article we have derived the best linear unbiased estimator (BLUE) of the parameters ๏ญ2 and ๏ณ2 involved in the Morgenstern type bivariate exponential distribution by ranked set sampling (RSS). Also we have evaluated the BLUE's of ๏ญ2 and ๏ณ2 involved in the Morgenstern type bivariate exponential distribution by concomitants of ranked set sampling for some specific values of the sample size n. The efficiency comparison of the proposed estimators with that of the estimators using concomitants of order statistics and modified ranked set sampling is also made.
