Abstract

A nondestructive method of monitoring the heat resistance of aluminum coating deposited onto substrate subjected to shot-blasting is suggested. Its physical essence is based on the evaluation of the coating weight by using radionuclide parameters. The method was applied to the evaluation of heat resistance of turbine vanes. The industrial inspection allows evaluating the coating quality at accuracy of gravimetry.
