Abstract

Surveys conducted on the usage of television in Australia by the Anderson Analysis, and McNair Anderson Associates held in the offices of the Australian Broadcasting Tribunal are presented. Results prove that television was very high soon after its introduction, but dropped after some time and another influence which appeared to stimulate viewing was the introduction of new stations.
