Abstract

ABSTRACT During a recent visit to Beijing an effort was made to interview the executives of the three US foodservice companies now operating in China: KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonalds. The goal was to ascertain some details about operations and the challenges ahead for these pioneer foodservice companies. Answering the question in the sub-title of this article it can be said that as far as the companies' accomplishments are concerned, “All is well at the Great Wall.”
