Abstract

Transport policy is made up of a complex multiplicity of players including public and private operators; in the case of a pioneering yet unexplored sector such as the Urban Air Mobility (UAM), consultation with this multiplicity of players is even more necessary. In the contest of the ASSURED–UAM project, a technical online survey was conducted, involving 34 experts from the Extended Advisory Board (EAB) of the project, with heterogeneous expertise and affiliations, to explore beliefs and expectations about the deployment of UAM in the near future. The survey was structured according to 9 thematic areas. Outcomes of the survey show some commonalities but also some divergences among the different groups of respondents, providing the basis to consolidate the UAM foresight scenarios and Concept of Operations for the 2025, 2030 and 2035 time horizons.
