Abstract

Bandar Lampung City is currently carrying out physical infrastructure development between the Government and the community hoping that this infrastructure can improve the socio economy of the community in several tourist attraction areas in Bandar Lampung City. The author will describe what the government has done to the local tourism infrastructure in Bandar Lampung City related to the development mechanism and local tourism management efforts in Bandar Lampung City using Cooper, Fletcherm, Gilbert, Stepherd and Wanhill Theory. This research uses descriptive research type with qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The research locations in this thesis are the Bandar Lampung City Tourism Office and the Bandar Lampung City Public Works Office. As well as three tourist sites managed by the government, namely: Sumur Putri, Batu Putu, and Taman Rusa, The results of the study found that the indicators of local tourism development in the city of Bandar Lampung have not been fully equitable carried out by the government because of the three tourist sites studied by researchers only one tourist location, namely the sumur putri tourist location that gets more government attention in tourism development and for the deer park tourist location is still only limited to not getting extra development from the government and for Batu Putu still needs massive development because it requires a lot of development in each research indicator. As for the supporting factors for the positive response of the community, road access to tourist sites on the main route is good, management from the private sector on facilities and infrastructure in princess wells tourism and the city center and inhibiting factors for government focus, covid-19, government attention and lack of public transportation.
