Abstract

In improving learning outcomes of Islamic religious education about Surat An Nasr through the Musabaqah method. In this classroom action research, the subjects of the study were students of class VII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Tellu Limpoe, Tellu Limpoe District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency with a total of 14 students. The research targets include student activities, student learning outcomes, and learning management by applying the musabaqah method. This research will be conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, reflecting. The results showed that the application of the musabaqah method had a major contribution in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education lessons about Surat An Nasr, which was marked by an increase in student formative values. In the early stages of student learning completeness only reached 36%, in cycle I it increased to 71% and in cycle II it became 100%. The application of the musabaqah method can improve students 'abilities in demonstrating the correct recitation of Surah An Nasr with tajwid and makhraj, as well as improving students' ability to memorize the recitation of Surat An Nasr.
