Abstract
A 48-year-old woman presented to our hospital in February, 2021, with a 1-year history of recurrent purpura after minor scratching, especially on the periorbital and perianal areas. She also reported that she had been experiencing intermittent haemorrhagic blisters on her tongue. She denied any other unusual clinical symptoms and her medical history was otherwise unremarkable. On physical examination, petechiae less than 5 mm in size were noted on the perinasal areas, neck, and armpit (figure). Systemic check-up, including examination of the tongue, did not show any other notable findings. Purpura on the perinasal areas (A) and neck (B).
