Abstract
This case report presents a rare and atypical manifestation of a ureteral Hunner lesion (HL). The patient initially presented with right ureteral stenosis, abnormal urine cytology, intermittent flank pain, gross hematuria, and lower urinary tract symptoms. Diagnostic evaluation involved various imaging studies, endoscopic procedures, and medical interventions. Eventually, the patient underwent right segmental ureterectomy resulting in symptom improvement. Pathology revealed findings consistent with a HL. This case report highlights the challenges in diagnosis, management, and the importance of considering ureteral HL as a potential cause of ureteral symptoms.
