Abstract
Abstract UNS No. G46260 is a carburizing grade of alloy steel. Both the core and the carburized case have relatively good mechanical properties. This steel is used for producing case-hardened parts such as gears, pinions, chuck jaws and camshafts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-405.
