Abstract

Successful accomplishment of radical transformations in the work of the Soviet school system and the restructuring and perfecting of all links in the teaching-upbringing process simultaneously requires the improvement of children's upbringing in the home. The schools are experiencing considerable difficulties due to inadequate support of their upbringing efforts on the part of some parents. To this day, the problem of close collaboration between the home and the school remains far from resolved. It is rare for a school not to have complaints about families with regard to schoolwork and students' behavior.
