Abstract

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of oral unreasonable medical orders on hospitalized pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, and administrative departments for three-stage joint interventions. Methods The intervention measures and effectiveness of oral unreasonable medical orders were analyzed statistically in 789 patients registered in inpatient dispensary from Jan 2017 to Jun 2017. Results The adoption rate of telephone notification by hospital pharmacists was 80.10%, the adoption rate after combined clinical pharmacists was 92.90%, and the total acceptance rate after the participation of administrative departments was 94.30%. Conclusions The three level joint intervention measures can increase the success rate of interventions with oral unreasonable medical orders and promote the rational use of drugs in clinics.
