Unitarity of supergravity is studied in a general covariant gauge. Except for the Feynman gauge, propagators of gauge fields have double poles. However these poles cannot contribute to the cut diagrams, and 't Hooft's diagramatic prescription is applicable to the theory in a general covariant gauge.
