Abstract

The terms of W. W. Clark, L. P. Eisenhart, and W. W. Rubey as chairmen of Divisions of the National Research Council expired June 30, 1946, and L. P. Hammett, R. C. Gibbs, and Arthur Bevan have been appointed in their respective places, and thus become ex‐officio members of the Executive Committee. Irwin Roman has taken over as acting Chairman of the Committee on Membership while G. W. Musgrave is on frequent and extended field trips. C. R. Longwell is acting Chairman of the Special Committee on National Welfare and Related Functions, replacing R. M. Field, who has resigned.
