Abstract
Abstract UNIMACH AF 1410 is a high-strength, high-fracture-resistant iron-based alloy (steel). It exhibits superior toughness over all other high-strength steels and has the highest combination of strength and toughness available in any high-strength alloy. It is recommended for consideration in a wide range of highly-stressed, fracture-critical applications such as airframe structural components, landing gear components and light armor plate. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
