Uniform Civil Code: A Need Of Hour

Abstract

I have written this article titles uniform civil code. The need of hour. In India there are multiple personal codes like Hindu code, Muslim code or sharia, christian code etc. This is regarding civil matter only. When there is an inter religious transaction occur then these codes create conflict. To ease the transaction we need an uniform civil code equally applicable to everyone. To this end my article points out laws supporting this decision and what the oppositions are saying and their justifications. I find that uniform civil code is perfectly justified by both legal and humanity point of view and the opposition who preached secularism, diversity and freedom of religion is perfectly absurd. i showed why they are absurd and support my contention with law. Today in India there are numerous exploitation cases of inter religious transaction such as marriage, inheritance, divorce etc. in this background my findings and work are perfectly relevant.
