Abstract
Several undulator-based scientific programs have been initiated and are under different stages of development at the Synchrotron Radiation Research Center. These programs include high resolution angle-resolved photoemission of highly correlated systems, spin-and-helicity-resolved photoemission of magnetic surfaces and interfaces, cryogenic high field soft X-ray magnetic circular dichroism of magnetic materials, scanning photoemission spectromicroscopy of nanostructures and X-ray microscopy for magnetic domain imaging, synchrotron-radiation-laser-combined pump probe and time-resolved experiments, and electron–electron and electron–ion coincident measurements of atoms and molecules. A brief description of these scientific programs and related instrumentation development are presented.
