Research Article| July 01 2020 Undocumented Histories: Generative Approaches to Undocumented Immigrant Experiences and Immigration Histories Ana Elizabeth Rosas Ana Elizabeth Rosas Ana Elizabeth Rosas is Associate Professor of Chicano-Latino Studies and History at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and received her PhD in History from the University of Southern California. Her book, Abrazando El Espiritu: Bracero Families Confront the US-Mexico Border, received the Immigration and Ethnic History Society’s Theodore Soloutos Memorial Book Award. In 2018, she became the first UCI faculty member to be awarded UCI’s Office of the Chancellor’s Mentor of the Year Award in Undergraduate Student Research in the School of Humanities and School of Social Sciences simultaneously. She is completing a book manuscript on the intergenerational emotive investments and travels of Mexican immigrant families in Mexico and the United States, and a digital humanities project that centers on emotive daring.
