Abstract
A whole-body model is a computational representation of sex-specific and organ-resolved whole-body metabolism. In this issue of Cell Metabolism, Zaunseder etal. report whole-body models of infants that represent metabolic, physiological, energetic, and nutritional features, accurately simulating the growth of infants and providing foundations for personalized medicine for infants.
