Abstract
Photosynthesis has been the major phenomena of removing accumulated carbon dioxide from the atmosphere due to the presence of green plants. Deforestation has always served as an obstacle towards carbon dioxide sink. Analytical experiment of diurnal carbon dioxide measurement was conducted over some selected areas of Owerri metropolis that has no green plants, and was compared by a ground measurement at Uratta in Owerri North.
