Abstract

Abstract Sam Bahadur, a new Indian biopic, captures the exceptionalism of Parsis in India, contextualizing it in the rise of exceptionalism in India. It contextualizes South Asian Indian exceptionalism in the context of American exceptionalism and the work of Giorgio Agamben, Donald Pease, George Fredrickson, and new Islamic and Muslim exceptionalisms.
